Are You Going To Heaven?
What is Your Destiny?
...no doubt you have thought about it. Certainly you are interested in it. But, do you know that you are going there? Find out by answering these two questions:

- Yes
- No
- Not Sure
- Q 2) What would you say to God if He were to ask you why He should let you into Heaven?
- I've tried to keep the 10 Commandments
- I go to Church
- I believe in God
- I'm basically a good person
- I've done the best I could
- I've never hurt anyone
How did you do with this two question test?
None of the answers to question 2 will get you into heaven but you can know for sure that you are going there. Jesus has made entrance to Heaven very simple. And you can have the assurance of going there when you die. Here's how:
1. Heaven is a free gift (Romans 6:23 "the gift of God is eternal life.") It is not earned or deserved (Ephesians 2:8,9 "for by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God. Not of works lest any should boast.")
2. We are all sinners. (Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.") We cannot save ourselves. (Proverbs 14:2 "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.")
3. God is merciful (1 John 4:8 "God is love.") and doesn't want to punish us. But, God is just and must punish sin (Exodus 34:7 "Yet He does not leave the guilty unpunished.")
4. Who is Jesus Christ? He is the infinite God-man (John 1:1, 14 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word became flesh and lived for a while among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.") Why did He come into this world? What did He do? He died to pay for our sins and purchase a place in Heaven for us which He offers as a free gift.
5. How is this gift received? By faith! Trusting in Jesus Christ alone for our salvation. (Acts 16:31 "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved!") Receiving Christ involves turning to God and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive us of our sins and make us what He wants us to be.
Jesus Christ is waiting for an invitation to come into your life. In fact, He says, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in." (Revelation 3:20)
You can open the door of your life to receive Christ by praying this prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I want to know you personally. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life to You and ask You to come in as my Saviour and Lord. Take control of my life. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me assurance of my future destiny eternal life with You."
If this prayer expresses the desire of your heart, pray it right now and Jesus Christ will come into your life just as He has promised. Once you invite Christ into your life, He will never leave you.
To know God personally is the greatest decision you will ever make. If you've just asked Jesus Christ into your life, tell us about it. We would love to hear from you.
